A Lifetime of Service.
For more than four decades, Dr. William Hartman has been dedicated to helping patients smile with confidence. Since opening his Bonner Springs practice in 1991, he has built lasting relationships with generations of families by providing compassionate care, listening to his patients' needs, and treating every person who walks through the door with honesty and respect.
Dr. Hartman earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Kansas before receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry. Before returning home to practice dentistry, he proudly served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps and later continued his military service in the U.S. Navy Reserves, retiring with the rank of Captain after 30 years of service.
Throughout his career, Dr. Hartman has remained committed to advancing his skills through continuing education, completing more than 45 hours of advanced training each year. He has extensive experience in dental implants and has helped restore thousands of smiles with custom dentures, combining proven techniques with personalized care to help patients regain their confidence and quality of life.
What matters most to Dr. Hartman is building trust with his patients. He believes every treatment plan should be tailored to the individual, with clear communication, thoughtful recommendations, and a commitment to helping each patient achieve long-term oral health.
Outside the office, Dr. Hartman enjoys spending time with his wife, Kim, whom he married in 1980, and their three grown daughters. A lifelong Kansan, he enjoys boating, jet skiing, bird hunting, studying military history, cheering on the Kansas Jayhawks, and spending time with his dogs, Beatrice and Dougie, and his Siamese cats, Dottie and Kit.
