Meet Dr. Robert Eckenberg

Decades of Experience.With more than 40 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Robert Eckenberg is known for providing skilled, patient-centered care with a calm and reassuring approach. Since joining the practice in 2006, he has helped patients improve their oral health through comprehensive general dentistry and advanced oral surgery procedures. Dr. Eckenberg earned his Bachelor of Science from Kansas State University before pursuing his dental career in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps. During nearly three decades of military service, he developed extensive clinical experience and completed an Oral Surgery Fellowship at the Great Lakes Naval Dental Center, expanding his expertise in surgical dentistry. He retired from the Navy with the rank of Captain after a distinguished career dedicated to serving both his country and his patients. Whether performing a routine procedure or a more complex surgical treatment, Dr. Eckenberg is committed to making every patient feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their care. He enjoys helping patients restore both the health and function of their smiles while building lasting relationships based on trust. Outside the office, Dr. Eckenberg enjoys traveling, exploring the open road on his motorcycle, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, and Kansas State Wildcats, and spending time with his wife, Tami, and their family.
